Student residence permit 2012

Postby rawonam » Wed May 23, 2012 6:55 pm

Has anyone applied/received yet?

I applied in Israel on May 21. Actually, I applied online earlier, but when I went to the Embassy for the first time, I had a document missing.
Let's see if online application system will improve the processing time.

I picked up my residence permit card today.
Looks great. Especially I liked the engraving of the map of Finland.

I first applied May 22, but I had to complement the application on June 6.

So, I'm waiting...

It takes up to 2 months to get a decision from the Embassy buh you are still on track. What I want to know is if you are required to also have 6,000 Euros and if you need a sponsor to lodge the funds in your bank account and if you have to provide your sponsor's statement of account and also yours showing that the money was lodged into your account by your sponsor, and if you will have to state the source of the fund by providing your sponsor's employment contracts, payment slips etc...

@finstudent.....I tink its eaither u av the fund deposited in your account, or u show a letter from your sponsor indicating that the fund will be available to you. In this case u will av to submit ur sponsors prove of income. Statment of account, payslip, contract of employment etc....

Hi guys,

Got one question regarding residence permit application. Can you please recommend few health insurance companies? I found Swiss Care and rates are good. Has anyone bought insurance from Swiss Care? Can I trust them?

Thank you in advance,
HTC.
