Very Serious Topic on Social System for children and reports

Hello,
I hope that someone can PLEASE help me. I am an an American here and my children have dual citizenships. They are 3 and 4. My wife has gone coo coo for many reasons. So I have taken care of these children alone while she has been committed to to Kellokoski for the next 3 months. The problem is with the social workers. She can still make reports against me, just to hurt me that are false to the social department. The last report says that the children are capable of taking medication because my wife stole a bottle of medication from a locked box from me with a hammer!!! It is crazy!! My children can get to no medicine ever!!
The social worker says that she cannot remove reports once they are made. But my god they are coming from a liar ina mental institution. The socaial worker just tells me "I don-t make Finnish law". OMG so I said to the social worker that someone here can make a report against someones kids if for example they park in your parking spot and someone is mad enough. And she she said YES!!!!!
So someone please tell me how you go about having social reports against ou removed in this country. It is crazy that people make lies. Especially right before I divorce her.... Help please!! Thank you

Reports cannot be ignored because somebody else (who doesn't like the content) says so.
But that doesn't mean they are considered the absolute truth.
If it is serious enough people will look into it and then the condition of your wife will play a part in the evaluation.

Just as Rinso said do not take the reports as truth. But try to get the social workers on your side, your deeds are more important then what somebody says. It is their duty to write every bogus story on paper. In the end they analyse with their bosses what is the right thing to do. You should stay calm and convince them that you are the right parent (you have disadvantage because they often think that only instabile mothers can be the right parent and you are the foreigner). It will get better but you have to stay calm for your children. Good luck.

Sadly Finns very often seem to take the mother's side of the argument no matter how batshít insane she is. We had another guy in here going through the same sort of thing, after a few months and his ex-wife being in a mental clinic for ages just about everything against him was dropped and he was given custody...

Thank u everyone for your words of support so far. I have been a single dad for a year now giving every second of my life to my kids. I was going to say that I "sometimes" hate the system, but now I just honestly have such hatred for them since I have done nothing wrong except making my kids happy and everday being complimented by teh Paivikoti staff. I can say no more............. :cry:

If you are going to fight for custody you should be talking to an experienced lawyer ASAP.
Antagonizing the social workers won't do your kids any favor, even if they were biased against you. They're probably not, more likely they have just been burned out of 10 or 20 years of seeing daily misery and try to follow the law in order to cover their asses.

Have a talk with a good lawyer and check which ways you can take to resolve this issue. Being the father (not the mother) and foreigner makes thing little difficult on your side, but stay calm. They're professionals and they've seen the most weird stories... a report doesn't means the absolute truth.
