Värttinä, Loituma and Piirpauke are probably some of the most well-known Finnish folk/ethnic/world music bands.

Note that there’s actual folk music (such as Värttinä’s early albums) and modernized “world music” (such as Värttinä’s later albums, which are inspired by folk songs but incorporate modern rhythm music elements.)
