Playing football in Helsinki?

I realise i have come a bit late in the day to play in any outdoor leagues but does anyone know where i can have a good kick-about in Helsinki?

Hi there,

I am moving to Helsinki for exchange from nye to the end of may and am wanting to know whether I should take either indoor shoes, outdoor cleats or both?
As I will be there mostly for winter I would guess that most football will be played indoor, but is it mostly futsal on hardcourt, or are there a few indoor turf pitches needing cleats?

You can go to Facebook and search for "Helsinki Hobby Soccer" group. The guys there have a football team that has won the bronze medal in the Palis cup 2013. I think you can ask them questions relating to football. They know a lot.
