Stadin Kriketti Kerho (City Cricket Club) are looking for new players and club members to join for the 2013 season.
We are a mixed club of Aussies, Kiwis, Saffers, Poms, Nepalese, Sri-Lankans, half-Finns, etc. etc. from all walks of life and with variable skills. We like a good game of cricket and to have a good laugh while we are at it.
There is a stack of cricket coming this summer with 40-over, T20s and social fixtures thrown in between and we are looking for new members.
We train on Tuesday's and Friday's in Summer at our home ground in Ruskeasuo, Helsinki starting from May and play fixtures around the Helsinki metro area and occasionally in Turku, Tampere and Vaasa - we also organise weekend tours to Tallinn now and then. We are a registered club with variable membership fees based on whether you are working full time and how much cricket you can play. We also have club equipment and kit for those who forgot to bring it with them.
