I just bought a car a car & got insurance from if (suggested by the inspection centre), which is quite expensive. Now I found out I can get all inclusive insurance from POP vakuutus 300 euro cheaper then what I got from if with less coverage. So I would like to change my car insurance. Can anyone please tell me whether I can change my insurance to another company even though I did not paid any bills yet & how?

Yes you can. Just contact the new insurance and they will do all the stuffs for you

It's even easier than that. Just buy the new insurance, databases are update automatically and the slip of paper can wait until the next inspection (=katasastus) time.Cory wrote:No worries, then. You own the car 100%.

Exactly.
Katsastus don't have anything to do with it. You've got to have the insurance before you go to Katsastus. Then in Katsastus they see you have insurance. They can't change your insurance or anything like that for you.
