Any one willing to teach basic Finnish here...?

Post by rahulashok231 » Tue Jul 29, 2014 9:00 am

hei Kiekele,

I am a foreigner who will be coming to Finland for my masters, I want to make sure that I know atleast a few basic phrases that will make it easier for me,to understand the culture and perhaps get a chance to interact with native speakers.

It would be kind of you if you could tell me some basic phrases along with pronounciation....

Kiitos...

Teaching an learning Finnish tends to be quite grammar heavy, so if you don't intend to stay here after your studies, I'd really concentrate on phrases to break the ice and facilitate smoother switch to English.
