There are a few, but if you expect american sized portions an american prices you'll be sadly disappointed

What's the history of this place in Finland? Hadn't noticed them.

Comments good on eat.fi - but better see your bank manager before going. Everything extra - potatoes 6.50 etc.

Seems to be located to take advantage of deep pockets arriving on cruise ships - or the 'downtown suits.' But I guess those people have to eat too.

It is the only place to eat meat in Helsinki . Expensive? Yes . But isn't it the case everywhere else in the city?
As for American restaurants -check Hard Rock Cafe , but it is a tourist trap mostly .....
What do you want from me?????

I doubt if you really could get out of there with a bill less than 60-70€ for a full meal. I think a lot of people are keeping 'meals out' to half of that - if they just want to be 'out.' If they want more expensive food they do it at home - maybe after a Hans Välimäki show :)

Then we have the Lexus/BMW/Mersu crowd - they can do whatever they want.

No one mentioned HRC? Look 2 posts above:

HRC has good burgers - but at 20€ a bit pricey - but at least quality fine (10 oz A1 meat). Steak (12 oz NY) not bad at 30+€ (incl potatoes and veg unlike Godwin).

They're fairly new in Helsinki, their origin is from Tallinn, Estonia, http://www.steak.ee/.

This campaign is currently running, also e.g. Hard Rock Cafe are participating; http://www.city.fi/syo
