Quantifier : Enough

Post by Kembreg » Sun Feb 15, 2015 3:33 pm

Based on feedback from Jukka a tried to make phrases using "pari".

a couple of apples : pari omenaa
a couple of books : pari kirjaa
a couple of boys : pari poikaa
a couple of children : pari lapsia
a couple of cities : pari kaupunkia
a couple of days : pari päivää
a couple of dogs : pari koiraa
a couple of friends : pari ystävää
a couple of girls : pari tyttöä
a couple of houses : pari taloa
a couple of men : pari miestä
a couple of tables : pari pöytää
a couple of women : pari naista

I put the noun into the partitive singular.
I hope it's correct.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

pari lasta (lapsia is the partitive plural form)

Yep, that’s the way to do it. All others were correct.
