Family reunification

Post by raskarhu » Fri Jun 24, 2016 12:11 pm

Hi

Just out of curiosity. When Yle news states the following: 'Under the new guidelines, for example, a couple with two minor children will need to net 2,600 euros monthly in order to acquire family residence.', does that refer to a net income (after tax) or a gross income?

Cheers

Net income.

Basically it means extending the applicability of these rules to a larger number of people.

Did the final version of the change passed in the parliament include Finnish citizens? I remember it was in the first draft, but I missed news about further changes.
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

Well, that sucks. I rooted for the proposal when it included citizens.
