"Term end date"?

Post by Ditrich » Fri Jul 15, 2016 3:37 pm

Hello everyone! :D

I've been trying to fill out an application form for my residence permit and realized that I don't know exactly what to put in the "Term end date" section.
Since academic year is divided into two terms, which one should I write?
The end of an autumn or a spring one?

P.S Going to get my BEng at Oulu UAS if it helps anyhow

Thanks

Are you talking about this field?

Since your studies will be at least 4 years, and the residence permits for studies are issued for 1 year, then you put a 1 year period. Let's say, 01.09.2016 - 01.09.2017.

You can, of course, input the exact study year length, but nobody cares really. Don't really think about it too much. A human will be reading your application and they know what you mean. They see you're accepted in the program, and that's pretty much it.
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.
