You should have started a new thread or found a better matching thread if one exists since your questions don't really related directly to the original topic.
I started a new thread about it, but I have no response in that thread and I thank you for replying me.
Are you sure it explicitly asked for Master's? It's possible to be a specialist with a bachelor's.
This is what mentioned in the form. Please see the link https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7kMSo ... sp=sharing

I doubt they would move you to another category unless you explicitly had something towards that in the application.
It means they wont move my application to specialist ? I have attached my work contract shows my salary details and My education qualification certificates. Isn't it sufficient ? Sorry for so many questions.

Looking forward for your reply.

Kind Regards
Kumar

I can confirm that having a university degree (whether bachelor's or higher) is not a requirement for the specialist RP. They ask for it, but they still consider your case if you don't present it.
Thank you for your kind reply. It gives a relief that if it is a specialist I will get my decision soon. But, I already made my application as a Employed person, is there any possibility to change? Tomorrow I will be visiting the embassy to leave my fingerprints and can I request them for the change?

Well, as others have mentioned, a specialist RP is much easier to extend. I've heard people have had trouble extending their non-specialist permit. So if it was me, I would make sure to submit a specialist application. (This should not be considered as legal advice). Best of luck to you!

If you're staying in the same job after a year, then the ease of extending Specialist RP vs. non-Specialist RP is negligible, especially if your non-Specialist RP is already related to some specialized role (not newspaper delivery or dish washing, for example). There's negligible ease. The only benefit is the speed at which you receive the decision, mostly due to bypassing TE-palvelut decision.

As for your original question, the law doesn't mention Masters or Bachelors. Migri uses these labels as guidelines. If your role, salary, past experience, all clearly indicate you're a person in a specialized role, then the degree shouldn't (and doesn't) matter.
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

Yes the law allows you to amend your application.

However, for the sake of not confusing the bureaucrats I wonder whether it's easier to make a new application and withdraw the old one. See question 20.
