Building a PC / PC parts / PC Stores

Post by Old Mate » Sat Dec 17, 2016 1:28 am

Greetings,

Does anyone know the best/cheapest store in Finland to buy brand new PC components? Either online or in store.

From what I've found, it seems to be quite expensive. There is the option to buy the parts from another country and have the parts shipped to Finland, but I am correct in assuming there would be some kind of additional tax if I did that?

Also, is there a store in Helsinki that specialises in building a PC for you if you bring them all the parts?

Thanks!

Almost every single part you need you can get cheaper from some place like Germany. I buy my PC parts from here: https://www.mindfactory.de/
VAT and import charges paid, so no extra taxes.

If you're doing a powerful gaming build, you end up saving ~ 300-400 euros if you order from Germany.
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

How do you handle warranty? Do you have to ship it back to Germany?

Yes. If you have something busted, you ask MindFactory and they give you a paid DHL sticker that you can print and put on the package to ship at no cost.

+1 for mind factory.
I only go to verkkokauppa when I need something urgent or something which doesn't cost much, such as cabling shiz
