For the loopholes in general, there are measures that could be done. For example, regularly checking that the loans used are arm's length transactions.
Usually the rules underpinning loopholes also have legitimate uses. Sometimes you just have to accept that it can be misused if the majority of the use is acceptable. Personally I think the corporate tax could just be nuked and replaced with taxes on externalities and consumption. This is because the web of international treaties makes it impossible to totally close the loopholes. The corporate tax does not play a big role for the Finnish state any way.Honest wrote:The question is why the things which can be done are not done? Does the state not need more money?
