I'd wait for a couple of weeks. Probably if nothing has happened by the beginning of August, you could try calling the oleskelulupa perhesiteiden perusteella-service number (Tu, We and Th from 10 to 11)

Hej,

I personally think that rp processing time based on family will be faster in september since the student rp is considered as priority and it is in high demand during summer.
I will soon get merry with my finnish fiance and apply for rp. I am currently thinking is it a good idea to apply in Finland and wait for the result in Finland. ( I am non eu citizen and have visa until november) In order to do that I need to resign from my current job in my home country. What do you think guys? I just wanted to share and talk to people who are on the same boat.

Hope for the best.

Wow. 25 questions? That's a lot. What are they asking?

Also mech01, indeed just apply in Finland. Makes life easier and you can wait together than.

I called Migri and they responded that our permit will not be processed this month either. My spouse will apply for a visa and visit me in Finland for 5 weeks in October and then go back to India. Hopefully by that time our application will be done.

Hello!

I applied 28th February this year (Interview date in my country) and still waiting for the decision currently,
My husband sent an email to the immigration two days ago, and they responded that my application was still on queue and waiting for processing.
I have a question; can i apply for visiting visa for 2 weeks to Finland or any schengen country while i wait for residence permit?
Thank you.

Yes, you can apply for visa. That is what my spouse is doing as well.

Believe it or not, I got my decision in just one week. I'm non-EU citizen and my husband is Finnish, married in Finland and applied for RP in the end of April based on family ties via EnterFinland. Processing time seems so differ... weird.
