Hej,

If it is possible, can you please tell me which application center in which city you applied for RP?

Hope for the best.

Oneea tuktuk! Good luck with your integration.
As for my application, I applied for my RP online in Finland and verified my identity in Oulu's migri. Since I married to my husband in maistraatti while staying here with tourist visa (was easier to make all the stuff done in Finland compared to my home country. Less documents, less things to do), it took some time to get my new name registered in my home country and I only had the passport with my old name and marriage certificate issued by maistraatti with Apostille attached. But they worked as "official enough" documents and had no problems.
I'm so sorry to hear that some of you/your spouse have to wait for painful long time... Hope this helps!

Wow! Congratulations nosundays, and to tuktuk as well,
We are still waiting for mine and hopefully we get a positive decision soon.
The anxiety while waiting! basically spent most of this year looking at the calendar and counting days.

No questions asked, our application was processed within hours. But we've been living together in india now for past one year and we together for 2 years. Our relationship was registered last summer in Finland.

Congratulations everyone! As for those who are waiting, let us hope that things will go slightly faster from now on since the migri has cleared the infamous backlog :P

It takes about 2-3 weeks to receive the residence permit card after the application has been accepted.

This is the process for us:

17.2.2017 We have received the processing fee for your application.
17.2.2017 We have received your application and it is pending.
23.3.2017 A customer number has been created for you. You can see your customer number at the top of the page.
23.3.2017 You have proved your identity and a diary number has been created for your application. You can see the diary number at the top of the page. Your application has been placed in the processing queue. We will contact you if we need more information from you. Our processing times can be found on our website at www.migri.fi
11.8.2017 The processing of your application has started. Contacting us does not speed up the processing of the application. If we need further information from you, we will send you a request through this service.
11.8.2017 A decision has been made on your application.
11.8.2017 The decision can be read on your user account.
11.8.2017 You have received the decision.

We visited the Embassy on 27.2, but it took almost a month for them to update the info on the website -- this is not normal, so if it has not been updated, do contact both the embassy and Migri.

I hope this helps you all.
