residence permit through a job

Post by Qatharyhna » Mon Oct 09, 2017 1:27 pm

I have a few questions regarding a residence permit through a job, i wasn't able to find the answers online, so I hope that some of you could help me.
does the residence permit through a job need a specific salary, or amount of hours in a day or ?
For example, is it possible to get a residence permit with a temporary job, with a 0 hour contract?

is it possible to get a residence permit while in a trial period of a job?
are there any more requirements for the job, in order to get a residence permit?

Thank you in advance.

Migri's website is fairly comprehensive. The answers to your questions are there, you just have to dig a bit.

I am looking for the answer to the "0-hour contact", and I cannot find specific information through that link.

Am I missing something?

You have to prove minimum income to meet the requirement. A 0 hour contract does not prove that you will receive at least the minimum. The figures are on the page for family members, but the numbers still apply to a single person. http://www.migri.fi/moving_to_finland_t ... equirement
