Helsinki city center looking for library

Post by atroul » Thu Oct 19, 2017 5:50 pm

Hello,
I will be tomorrow in Helsinki and I am looking for a free place where I can stay and work on my laptop from 10:00 am to 18:00 pm.
Is there a public library near close to the train station?
Thank you

There´s a small library right next to the station, but I´m not sure how comfortable it is for whole day working. http://www.helmet.fi/en-US/Libraries_an ... Library_10

Around 10min walk from the station is Rikhardinkatu library which is really comfy.

Thank you. Are they both free with free internet access?

Kirjasto 10 (near the railway station) is only open from 12-18 on Saturdays. And the one on Rikhardinkatu is open from 10-16.

If you follow the link given above ie http://www.helmet.fi/en-US (which is in English) and click on LIBRARIES, you will find addresses and opening times for all the public libraries in the Helsinki area.
