Hi everyone,
I have problem with my housing fee and I got bad credit record. Since I’m a foreigner , I need to renew my resident permit. Is the bad credit affect this?
Moreover, I receives a letter this morning that my debt is clear but in stead they will take back the apartment. The problem is I already paid the rental fee before I receiced this letter? So is there any chance that I can appeal.
I really need help now thank you so much

Migri does not check credit report for RP. If you are being collected from by enforcement, it can have an effect on means of support calculation.
Letter from whom? You can appeal in courts until there’s a final (lainvoimainen) judgement. You should consult a lawyer to navigate the legal system. Legal aid is free, if you can’t otherwise afford it.Iamacat wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 12:12 pmMoreover, I receives a letter this morning that my debt is clear but in stead they will take back the apartment. Contact the landlord as soon as possible. If you already paid the debt, it might be easy to solve the problem. Otherwise, try to make a deal (payment schedule). In this period companies are not eager to end up with empty apartments that will take time to rerent.
Advice from a lawyer is good. But to start with legal proceedings might induce reluctancy for further negotiations.

That's quite far in the process and clearing the debt at that point does not return the right to rent. One help is that enforcement can move the deadline to move out if it's currently hard to move out. It will be hard to find private dwellings because the proceedings are already on your record.

I live in student housing, do you think there are any chance that I can ask them for me to rent it again...?

I have received a letter from Ulosotto and request me sending money to a bank account ( some kind of enforcement process?) . I did it and I don’t know what will come next. I send an email to my housing company, ask that if they can let me stay here with 2-3 month prepaid rental fee. But I dont know if it’s gonna work

Just leave an update that my problem has been solved. Although I still got a credit record, the housing company still let me stay here because I have paid all the debt before I received the letter. As far as I know ( thanks to all comments above and my friend information) that credit record does not affect the resident permit.
Thank you so much!
Re: Problem with bad credit record- I REALLY NEED HELP
Once, I needed fast money for an urgent situation, and my WORD CENSOR - SPAM POST/MESSAGE!!! wasn't great. But I found a solution that helped. I used a payday loan app to borrow up to $5000. It was simple - just a few clicks on my phone, no complicated paperwork. They had different loan options, and all the terms and interest rates were easily understood.
