That was unintentional.
Now fixed
I came as a student and now I applied for citizenship with current A work visa and having reached residency period. How about you?Underscore wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 5:46 pmHahahha, lucky you. I applied in the last week of March and queue number was 9042 and it’s been one month mow and queue stands at 9061 .ehab101 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 1:16 pmHi, Is it normal to have your queue numbers go down only about 100 numbers in a month (the first month) I applied mid March with queue number 89xx and after more than a month the queue number is 88xx. My diary number is in the 25xx/310/2024 range. Just looking to get any insight as to why has it been so slow or is it just the first month and so. Thanks
Can I ask what was your status in Finland and grounds for application?
I have included in my application a write-up detailing the reason for my move to Finland and expressing my desire to stay permanently with my family. Not sure if it helps to expedite the application process, but I've attached it nonetheless. Maybe it did cos I received the decision much sooner than I expected. Just wanted to share with everyone.Auringon_kukka wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 1:35 pmCongratulations!!!BlossomL wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 4:38 pmHi everyone
I applied 1.11.2023 based on family ties and my diary number was 134xx, and queue number 81xx.
It was moved to stage 2 yesterday morning (queue 56xx) and I received the positive decision before 12 today.
Such sweet relief. This is definitely a really great support group for all of us who has applied and been waiting for a decision.
Best of luck to all.
Last July my queue number moved by 50, it was a super slow month, but tbh migri has been very active lately compared to last year, and they hired a lot of people in december, so hope these people have finished their training and can join migri affectively
One application has different speeds depending on its position in the queue.
I think that it is normal/many cases are similar to yours, you do not need to panic. And it would be more helpful to state dates instead of "last Tuesday" and to mention the date at which you applied/visited Migri or when your dairy number is generated (if no Migri visit is required). So one can compare your case and give you a better opinion. All the bestjonathan_09 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:20 amHey guys
my application moved to stage 2 last Tuesday. I thought that I would receive the decision on the same day but still haven't received it yet. is this normal ?? my diary number is 133XX/310/2023.
what could they be investigating ? I'm from Egypt. I have been living in Finland for 7 years now. I have my job and I completed a degree here. is common that stage 2 could take a long time ?
Sure It moved to stage 2 actually on 23/04/2024.MCS wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 12:59 pmI think that it is normal/many cases are similar to yours, you do not need to panic. Take a chill pill. Some of us are still waiting in Stage 1, since 2022 (August, me).jonathan_09 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:20 amHey guys

Hopefully we are going to be processed soon, as the waiting period is super long already… But of course, it depends on Migri’s speed of doing things …Auringon_kukka wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 3:49 pmTake a chill pill.
