hhhhhhhhhot GREEK loversh!
Ok,
If you read that 'GEEK' lovers this is for you also
So I've been working 24/7 all year and my boss says I look like a wreck and bureaucratically I need to take atleast 2 weeks in September (the last two weeks).
I'm fixing up my flat for a week or two (desparate attempt), but then I'm thinking of getting somewhere to the Med and plasterd for two weeks or so. As cheap as possible.
I was looking at trips, but they ask 250-300 extra for singularity, so I need a 'roommate', so this is an announcement to find one.
I don't care where exactly to go, I'd prefer Turkey for the price, but the disco world there is full of hairy dudes and the market for tall blondes is limited, I am looking for a place with some indecent "Essex girls".
I am not a beach person as I burn on full moon, but more a museum/trekking type. And I snore and get very stroppy if I am woken up and told that.
Two weeks because I usually sleep the first week straight...

Not yet, but there is still time and options.
The 7 wonders sounds great, but the thing is price, I am planning on taking a quck&cheap to wherever with the lager-louts. A non-cultural trip this time over, though Samaria gorge in Crete is on the "hmmm" list...

By the way, Prince Charles goes frequently to that place, according to the locals.

If its lads on the lash holiday its gotta be tenerife mallorca or ibiza (i'd give greece a miss at the moment and turkey's never appealed) I've done a couple of them myself. I'd love to come with you mate but there's just no way with a Finnish missus (as im sure you know ) One day though dudeHank W. wrote:I am planning on taking a quck&cheap to wherever with the lager-louts. How about a nice trip to the Black Sea. A few days in Odessa, OK there is a beach, but there is a lot of walking and historical stuff, prices are pretty low. You can stay in an apartment (rent from one of the old ladies outside the railway station), the sanitoria are very inexpensive and include things such as mud baths, massage, heat treatments. Very relaxing and there are hotels of all grades. If you want a decent apartment, figure on about $45 per day if booked through an agency, less if you use the little old ladies.
Have an adventure...
BTW the women will be lovely and will tend towards friendliness, not too much of the hair that you seem to dislike, there are some great open air clubs to meet them in.

Hank, Faliraki sounds just about up your alley.

etc, etc, etc. ad nauseam on the pavement.
Described as "the armpit of the world", it should be fairly seething with Essex girls who are gagging to take part in your own private wet T-shirt competition. Just remember to wear Kevlar, however.
And people complain about Finnish binge-drinking.... (insert huokaus here)

By the way, here's the sporty girl, just back from her ordeal in a Greek jail, getting them out again for the punters back home. This probably paid for her fine.
Funny, I drove through Faliraki in the direction of Lindos and the south a few years back and it didn't look anything like the image it has now. Best thing about Rhodes - in fact about the only good thing in my view - is Symi. Little island with villas to rent off the coast by Rhodos Town. Probably been ruined, too, by now.

Why do you think I said:
These cultural holidays are all well and good, but the majority of young people just want to go on holiday to drink and cop off. And fair play I say, I've had some cracking holidays in the med with the lads
My personal recommendation is Palma Nova/Magaluf or Alcudia in Mallorca.

But then again i'm just manc scum Me and my mates were pretty stereotypical of the Brits in those reports
