dental xray request

is it legal to ask a public dentist for a copy of my dental xray

e.g if I go for an appointment visit and they need to take the xray then & there

and who should I contact i.e the head of the dental health organisation
to get legal confirmation that I can request a copy of my xrays for personal and or legal use.

e.g if the dentist is a novice and screws up my teeth I will need those xray pictures as proof..

Yes you should always be able to get the x-rays on a dvd but it will cost you 25€
