Outlet in or around Helsinki

Hello!

I have recently moved to the Helsinki area and would like to know where I could find outlet malls (or not necessarily a mall but an area where I can find more than one shop) for affordable winter clothes? Especially if there's Finnish or Nordic-based brands. Also, second-hand but good quality clothing stores?

I've read about Helsinki Outlet but it appears to be somewhat far from the city (I'm in Espoo).

You're probably refering to Helsinki outlet. There are indeed several sports shops there, plus you'll find partioaita on the other side of Ring3. In spit of it's name it's already in Vantaa.
I'd say it's probably worth a visit if you are looking for some savings and have already visit the main stores.

There's also another area in Tammisto (again, Vantaa) where you'll find 4 large sport stores (Intersport, Xxl, stadium outlet, budget) plus a bit further 1 or 2 other shops for camping/adventure (partioaita style, iirc). I think you can also find these around Espoo.

There's one recycling center in Espoo, where you may find an affordable and acceptable clothes.
