is it true that in Finland there are such saunas?

Er...I'd say it's up to the men and women in question whether they share a sauna. But it would be quite unusual for people to do that unless they know each other intimately.

Anyway, as has been noted here before, taking a sauna is really not a sexual thing. For one thing, it's way too hot for carnal activities or even thoughts. And a sauna is a sacred place for Finns, not to be desecrated.

I have heard that there are some mixed sauna's in Helsinki. But it seems to be very rare here. In Germany I think there are more mixed sauna's in for example gym's than one for each sex.

at many spas here there are turkkish saunas. They are usually mixed. Not finnish saunas though. The difference is that a turkkish sauna has a lot of steam and you can't really see anyone
