moving out Finland

Living in Finland so long time, we want to move out here. Which country is the best choice to move in? Australia, New zealand, Canada, UK or USA? Any advices are welcome.

Where you can get to... are you EU/non-EU? If EU, then UK is just go, non-EU UK is more difficult. USA is then even more difficult.

NZ, Australia and Canada have "points system" for immigration. Not for totally broke people either, as the application fees are, if not substantial, substantial enough if you don't have the money.

In any of the cases one needs to have a marketable skill and a prospective job aligned... (well in case of EU=>UK you can just pop over and start looking, but its still good to do the groundwork)
Cheers, Hank W.

Moi! Terve!

Came to Portugal!!
it´s Europe, it´s EC, and it´s a nice place for foreigns live... 90% of the foreigns who live here LOVE MY COUNTRY

:)

Serious! we have lots of bad things, but at least you have LOTS OF SUN, and nice hospitality! REAL NICE PPL! :P

If you have qualifications you can find a job here, otherwise it could be difficult.. like anyhere.. not only in Finland..
we have 7,3% ppl with no job, which is higher than the EC averege.. but still.. our salary is much below than the normal in Suomi but stills!

YOU ARE WELCOME!

If someone from outside reads this forum, thinking in going to Finalnd, i am sure that with the hospitality here, the ppl will change ideas...
i know you all go to say it´s bcos ppl do not came after a wrong idea, or bcos they thing Finland is a "dream live" , bla bla bla... for sure in everyplace there are good and bad things, and it´s not easy anywhere.. and i understand you, that you want be "closed" for the outside, Finland only for Finns.. ok it´s a way of see the world...

:)

Kitos!

Dont do the USA.
Economy isnt so strong despite the reports. Govt is a bit shady in its practices these days. If you did go there you might have to stand in line for 3 hours waiting to go through the search process and if you miss you next flight due to that, its your fault and you need to pay for new plane ticket.
Maybe in the future the USA might be a good place to call home, but not right now.
