a quick question

Post by stonetongue » Thu Nov 20, 2003 6:47 am

could anybody here translate the phrase "stone tongue" into finnish for me? i have tried but sadly i do not speak the language and don't know how one would conjugate the noun "kivi" for the adjective "kieli" or whether one would conjugate "kieli" for the noun "kivi". any help would certainly be appreciated.

"kivinen kieli" is a direct translation.

kivinen = of stone; stoney

Native speakers (which I am not) may post later. What's the context? Oh, your nickname.
