Hi, there!
i've decided to enter the Juvaskyla University, Music and Media Management (bachelor) degree, in these terms i have some questions to those how have information:
how to prepare portfolio for the entrance exam? how does it usually look like?
how to orginize an apartament to stay at for he examenation period? Can KOAS submit some proposals for the short-term stay?
and finnaly, how much will i spent on the rent while studying, 200-300 euros? what is an average expense per month on the food?
i do realy need ur advice, hope to find friends to support me as well! =)

Pretty much all of those questions should be answered by the student office of the university, that's why they're there for.

like I said use the search, there's similar threads by other people.

I didn't do any portfolio, since I went to university in the UK.

Music and media management cannot be something that many people know about. In fact this is the first time I hear about it, so my guess is that nobody on this board has done that portfolio. Why don´t you contact the university and ask, what do they want and what should that portfolio contain.

thanks, gyues, i contacted the Head of the programm and she didnt open me the sercret how to make a realy good portfolio, just said "it's up to me", but as far as we're talking about entrance exams i realy want to know at least patterns how to make it so that the comission will be impresed...well, if u dont know, not a problem than may be u'll say someting about the short-term stay at Jyvaskyula? Where do the overseas applicants usually stay at for the examenation period?
by the way, is it difficult to learn Finish language?

because there's a person everyday asking the same questions. Why repeat, if the answer is already posted here?

I'm just saving time by not typing out an essay every day about the same topics...

You can always ask tthe student body if they have some short term alternatives.

by the way, do u have links about the russian student communities? or just russian communities.. i wonder how many russians are there in Jyvaskyla..
