Re: Chef/Kokki in Seinajoki/Finland

Alma is one of the few good joints in town to eat. Has some nice hotel rooms too. Also one of the few non-chains, you'll quickly note that almost every place is owned by the borg S-Ryhmä. Alma is next to the railway station, it was in fact the old railway station, before they decided to build that u...

You are going to need a hygiene passport (Hygieniapassi) if you plan to work anywhere near food. It doesn't hurt if you have one already when you apply somewhere. Not many restaurants in this town. Let's be honest, going to mol doesn't do much good. Take a walk in town on a weekday and stop by at a few joints for a chat.

Re: construction jobs in keski-suomi

It's only a good decision if you get on with the big companies, such as YIT, Lemminkäinen, etc.. they have their own plumbers. Yes having a phone call helps, but getting aboard unconnected is possible if you are qualified and can look good on paper. The smaller shops can be just about anything, but ...

Re: Looking for job in Seinajoki Area

Most important question first: Do you have a drivers license and a car?

If so, try PEPT, it is located in Kaustinen.. and does work all over Finland. Google them up and give them a call, or send your resume.
