Does anyone here know where to get a "Fastelavnstönde"? The ones that are painted white with a cat on and easy to break for toddlers with wooden bats?

Re: visa electron from bank abroad

VISA electron is not the same as a VISA. Lots of shops do not take electron.. it is up to the shop and sometimes it is a lousy deal for the shopkeeper.

Get a normal VISA.

Re: How did you learn finnish ?

Seriously do not try to learn Finnish. It is not worth the trouble. After five years of studying you can exchange unpleasntries at a low payed job..

Use your energy on learning programming or mathemathics..

Good luck

Good luck Lily,

Don't give a @#$% what the others say.. Living in Finland is easy.. Getting a job without finnish languaghe skills is easy.. Just be yourself and think out of the box some times (Finns don't do that:))

Maybe you can go to oikotie.fi and put in make, model and year. There are a couple of v40's from around year 2000 for sale.
