It has been couple of months since Nordea got burned by money laundering news. And that affected their stock too. There's absolutely no reason to be rude to a customer, law or no law. The last time I checked, cash is still a legal medium of exchange.
There's no point making excuses for backward and foreigner-hating individuals that seem to be everywhere in this country.

Yes, they required mine, probably because I renewed my passport some months after submitting the application. Migri held the new passport for almost 4 months. Thanks for the info. Finnish "free" (what it is not!) healt care is a big joke! Move to the US, get sick, require weeks of hospitalisation and medication, look at the bill they send you, then you'll truly know how much of a joke a nation's healthcare system can be. I've been commenting earlier here why it took longer than usual. My own mistake and migri mistake with an application form for a residence permit which made a bit mess but everything is fine.
