It has been couple of months since Nordea got burned by money laundering news. And that affected their stock too. There's absolutely no reason to be rude to a customer, law or no law. The last time I checked, cash is still a legal medium of exchange.

Yes, they required mine, probably because I renewed my passport some months after submitting the application. Migri held the new passport for almost 4 months. Thanks for the info.
