Is this calculated on total amount of mortgage or the remaining amount of mortgage? For instance; A mortgage of 200,000€ was granted with 0% euribor and 0.4% of bank margin. 717€ was the monthly installment. During one year, 50,000€ was paid back as guy got lucky with lottery/some cash lying around ...

Re: electricity transfer scam?

Just want to say this is such a scam, ie caruna! It's all done legally. The blame lies with the people who decided it was a good idea to sell an infrastructure monopoly to investors (the same with Digita back in the day). Those people should be found and tickled for decades 16 hours everyday. Helsi...

Re: Threat of war

What's the scenario there? Is there any threat of war or attack on Finland in the future? So, sad to realize how the word 'war' is becoming the reason for loss of peace of mind for common people like us, Corona has already made our lives hell. RuZZia is screwed financially, and can hardly afford an...

Re: Is it allowed to pour boiling water (pasta) in kitchen sink and toilet?

The apartment is new (constructed in 2021), and wondering if it is alright to pour hot water right in kitchen sink or toilet? There is no mention of it in apartment guidebook, and internet is rather divided over it (don't do it, do it and it cleans pipes, yada yada). The kitchen sink is the natural...

Title says it all. The apartment is new (constructed in 2021), and wondering if it is alright to pour hot water right in kitchen sink or toilet? There is no mention of it in apartment guidebook, and internet is rather divided over it (don't do it, do it and it cleans pipes, yada yada). How it is in ...

If Finnish telemarketers from Finland, just tell your company pays your bills If it is Indian scammers then feel free to use character building adjectives, ask their email address, send them photos of penises and ask them to share it with their maternal figures. Or just spin a virtual machine over V...

Re: Can we actually install an AI Security Camera Eyelet on the front door?

I'd rather advise you install it right inside your apartment pointing it towards the door (so that anyone who opens the door is directly captured). Even with this setup, you need to put a notice right in front of your door (Aluella Tallentava kameravalvonta) to inform anyone firsthand before steppi...

Re: Penalty when travelling without passport?

The weight of passport is less than the weight of damn cell phone.

Never understood people's defiance of carrying the passport. Serves them right when authorities issues a fine.

Re: Scam phone call from Microsoft?

Try to get their email address to send logs and instead send them dick pics

Explaining the collection of dickpics to your partner, if any, would be another story

Perhaps you should start a blog or something about how you're screwing with the scammers

https://www.valtiokonttori.fi/en/service/compensation-to-crime-victims/ "You can be compensated for personal injury and suffering". I don't suppose the OP was personally injured in this case. I think he would spend a lot of time claiming this money and in the end it probably won't be wort...

Re: Cheap corona test for travelling

Good thing is you can make it for free if you live in HUS area. Yes, but for that I would need to lie on purpose and I don't feel comfortable with that. Because you can't just go to HUS and say "I'll be travelling in a couple of days, I'd like to get a test done because it's required." In...
