Re: International Grocery Shipping?

Does anyone ship grocery from other countries on a regular basis? I mean stuff like alcohol, pastry, frozen meat, etc. What are the options? Anything you want reasonably fresh would be expensive express shipping. I am not sure you can buy transport of frozen goods from other countries as end custom...

Or it might be coming later, perhaps mid-October like in Sweden:

Re: From kenya to finland

It's not like that. Sure, Finnish in many jobs isn't a requirement, but not speaking it is still a limiting factor for the number of available jobs. In recent years there is a trend that even Finnish IT companies who were previously using Finnish are switching to English because there are not that ...

Re: Remigration RP Questions

Hi! I am in the same boat as the original poster! My grandmother was born in the US to my Finnish great-grand parents. My great-grandmother, Anna, was never a US citizen, and my grandmother born in 1920 was a Finnish citizen by birth, although she lost that citizenship at age 22 by losing her conne...

Please, I also want to know if an HND holder in Computer Science stands any chance of working in Finland. I had to check Wikipedia what HND is. Education from abroad alone will not get you a job in Finland, Finnish IT job offers are often swamped with applicants with Masters Degrees in Computer Sci...

Re: Electric socket in car park

If i really plan to get an EV, I do not need the power to charge but to keep my battery warm (in a way to avoid discharge) in winters. But if its all 2 hours, then its a deal breaker. Why do you want to keep the battery warm when you aren't using it? Heating the battery 2 hours before driving shoul...

Russian birth certificate does not have a citizenship field for parents, it is more like an ethnicity, Are you talking about Soviet birth certificates or birth certificates from Czarist Russia or both? The Grand Duchy of Finland was an autonomous part of the Russian Empire with separate citizenship...
