The holy grail has been found! As much as I would love to tell you all about a wonderful family owned artisan butchers hidden away in the misty alleys of Turku's old town those capitalist pigs at citymarket are to thank. Streaky bacon about 4mm thick, tasted good too! :D

Personally, I think the thin bacon is awesome! It can't help going crispy :)
