A little help with translation?

Post by Nicoleosha » Fri Mar 23, 2018 8:52 am

Hi! I recently found an old picture in my grandmas photo album. On the back it says “Elsa ook Evert lran figne” or something close to that. It’s a picture of a church believed to be in Finland somewhere. The words are a bit hard to read. If anyone is willing to help me out I can email a pic of the words and church. Would be much appreciated!

Wild guess that ook is really och, and in Swedish. Elsa is name, Evert is a name.

Another guess that the 'Iran' is actually från , also Swedish and means 'from'.
I think Upphew's guess for 'och' = 'and', is also correct.
