Looking for a dance class for my 5 year old daughter. Thank you to those who responded, but we just moved here a month ago, so without clearer information, example: contact names, phone numbers, costs, times or addresses...none of the information you share can be useful to us. Thank you for more information!

Helsingin Tanssiopisto has classes all over Helsinki. We live near itäkeskus and my 4 year old takes essibaletti near mellumäki. I have liked all of their teachers.

At what age is a good age to start your little one in dance. My oldest is 3 and a half and I would like to get her involved in dance or gymnastics. Something active and where she can meet friends.

Jumppa would be a good place to start. It is like a tumbling. It is good for their motor skills. My daughter goes to a jumppa school called Touhis that has classes all over itä helsinki. Their classes start at age 3. She loves it!
