Hi there,
Can anyone recommend a cafe in downtown Helsinki that has either a play area for kids or is particularly child-friendly?
Many thanks!
Child-friendly cafes in Helsinki
Re: Child-friendly cafes in Helsinki
I got a couple of recommendations from friends and thought I'd pass them along:
Il Duetto in Kamppi reportedly has an open area where children can run around, though no official play space.

I ended up going with my kiddie guests to Cantina West, which has a play room for children on Sundays only. Even though the play room was closed when we were there, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food wasn't so wonderful, but perhaps that was just my poor menu choice.

Both of these are restaurants rather than cafes, but both are open for lunch.

Omenapuu has a child area/ video area and sells itself on being child friendly (see link below). I am not sure if it still is, but everyone used to tell me it was very child friendly... and food used to be OK but I have not been for 7 years or so.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Rosso restaurants all have play areas.
