Briefly a young friend of mine has had her second baby by C-section, she already has a 3 year old. She' not Finnish but speaks well. Her husband works and she has no family support system here.
In the UK a local college had just this type of course and the students had to do 'work experience' with a family. I was lucky and had a brilliant student for six weeks. Her sole task was to look after the newborn and toddler. Is there something similar here?
Kiitos

You could try the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare: http://www.mll.fi/en/short_term_child_care_services/
It offers short-term childcare services for situations such as the one your friend is experiencing. I have not used it myself but I believe it has a good reputation. https://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mannerhei ... jeluliitto
