How many members are coming?

Depends on your lifestyle.
If you live in helsinki (e.g two room apartment of 50 square meter) the rent will be between 800 to 1400 euro per month
and for food 400 to 500 euro per month for two person
these are the two mandatory expenses
other than this if you want to travel monthly bus card 84 euro per person for two zones

i hope this will help you

Well, one hint would be to look what the income thresholds are for a family on the MIGRI website to get a residence permit. That is calculated on average "to survive". And "live like a Finn", so if you expect something you think is "normal" but in Finland is not, then you need more money. It can be little or big things. Like washing a shirt. If you are used to having laundry service then you pay more than the shirt costs...
