I like winter, but I dont know the thing that you name as "winter" with -20º C... I like winter in Spain with 0 or -5ºC...

What is sure is that I dont like summer in spain with 40º C or 45º C in Madrid, i like hot but just in the sauna!!!! ;)

On the south coast it's usually between 0 and -10 C. With dry air and no wind it is not so cold (you need good clothes and shoes of course). Sometimes it goes to -15 or below (-30 is coldest I've had) but just for a couple of days. Frozen rivers and lakes and fresh snow in the sunshine is very nice. :D

Yes.....Once you get inside
It is very very nice when viewed from inside a tripple glazed bar with a nice log fire and a large mug of steaming hot Glöggi.... :D
"whats glöögi?" you ask...Red wine with added blended spices and plus additional fortification of ones choice ..Vodka..Brandy....heated to melt the ice from the most remote cold parts of your body.
Best drunk with a friend of the opposite sex......do you get my drift....

Hehehehe...

But as good spanish I dont like to mix red wine with anything... Seems like a sin to me ;) 8)

I prefer vodka with some tonic instead of Glöögi, but I promise to try it...

'But as good spanish I dont like to mix red wine with anything'

that's funny because few years ago one thing I learned from my spanish friends was to mix red wine with coke. I think it was called 'calimotso' (I'm sure the spelling is totally wrong!!), and I still do it when drinking red wine.

The correct spelling is Calimocho and yes, its very common seeing young people mixing (bad) red wine with coke...

I can not drink that... Hundreds of years ago I get drunk with that mixture and now I can not even smell it!!! ;)

Good point about calimocho... I didnt remember that... :)
