Yaayyy my husband got a positive decision today!!!! 6 months of waiting and its finally over

I have a question, does the embassy inform applicants that the residence permit card has arrived or how does that go?

Still waiting. Answers to some questions and bank statement + salary slips were requested. Submitted in second week of june then no further progress. Such a long process.

Hi you all! Im new here, but have been following this forum for quite some time now. I accidently found Finland forum from google and every since I have been almost everyday checking who has been granded rp and so on. First of all, congrats to all of you who already.have positive rp decision and for you who are still waiting, hang in there.

I am finnish citizen. Married to my non-european citizen husband in 11/2018 in Finland. Applied for rp in old fashioned way(=paper application) and proved identity and paid 03.12.2018 in Finland, at Migri. Still nothing from Immigration. They havent contacted us at all, no any questions or anything. It has been now 7 months and one week.. And waiting continues still.

I'm stuck in Israel because I came here to get documents for getting married
I'm not living here
I been staying in Denmark for many years
How ever Finland embassy hear my story and asked me why don't you bring your wife to Finland
Is it easy to get visa if you're Finnish citizen with a kid
Which is sepuse to recive Finnish nationality

I am happy to share with you today that my husband finally got granted residence permit today! Or actually he got rp 8.6.2020 but only just today got the card. We applied for his residence permit in december 2018 and now after 1,5 years finally waiting is over! I wish you all here on Finland Forum all the best luck and patience. Sometimes good things happen veeeeeery slowly.
