traffic offence

Post by sijazme » Thu Aug 08, 2019 7:10 pm

This question is for my friend who is from Brazil...

He has a Brazilian driving license and was recently pulled over for doing 110 km/h on a 90 km/hr road in Finland.

He got a ticket of around 200 eur. This was regarded as a traffic offence.

The police did not take his driving license but said he could lose it if he committed another offence like this.

Will this affect his resident permit application?

Thanks

Multiple of this can affect the permanent residence or citizenship due to danger to public but one shall be no problem.

Not sure about his residence application but if you use “Waze” to navigate around Finland it alerts you to upcoming speed cameras. The scourge of Finnish roads

How about just stick to the @#$% limits? They're there for a reason.

How well people comply with speed limits there? Or is it rather a speed suggestion?
