Mature Student Applying to Graduate School

Post by MiqSir » Sun Jun 21, 2015 2:42 am

Greetings from Bangladesh. I am planning on applying to (Hanken, Aalto, Helsinki) for a Msc degree in Economics. I already have a MS in Economics with 8+ years of experience in Marine Logistics/NGO/IT. I am 35 years old. I am aware of the fact that most of the Msc programs are structured for "pre-experience" students. However, the admission coordinators have welcomed my application. I would like to hear your opinion about my age being a discouraging factor. Also, if you could shed light on the possibility of integrating into Finnish society. I speak English and French along with several Asian languages and I have lived in Europe in the past. And I ski. :D Thanks for your two cents.
