Swisscare insurance

Post by IvanKragujevac » Mon Jun 20, 2016 6:43 pm

Hello all,

Please, can somebody confirm that Swisscare is accepted from migri.fi for master's studies in polytechnic university since migri.fi recommend Marsh sip insurance which is more than double expensive than Swisscare. Master's programmes in polytechnic universities last from 1.5- 2.5 years so and there are no official length of the studies so I wonder should I pick Standard package with max insurance sum 30,000 euros or I have to pick Comfort package with max insurance sum 100,000 euros?

Thanks in advance!

Swisscare is accepted by Migri. It's also listed by StudyInFinland.fi http://www.studyinfinland.fi/healthinsurance

But at migri.fi says that If you are going to study in any of the institutions listed in studyinfinland.fi, you can apply for Marsh SIP International Health Insurance . All major education institution are in this site . That is weird !

It says "We recommend". I don't understand why you think it's weird. http://www.migri.fi/services/faq/reside ... s/students
Check the conditions of Swisscare and see if they satisfy the Migri criteria listed on the same page.
