Theres no "fields". Hockey is on ice. In summer they play football on the gravel. Grass is for golfers.

Thanx P. I have been looking on the official site and found plenty info, they just didn't have the clubs in Finland are situated, well not in English atleast. Maybe I just missed them.

And no, field hockey is not played on grass, grass is for goats and sheep. Or smokers, depends on what one is into. It is played on artificial turf, or AstroTurf as us layman call it. I also do the ice hockey thing, but more as a spectator.

Enjoy your easter.

Salibandy is floorball in english. Otherwise in the winter indoor hockey is the alternative. Same pitch, same goals as handball. Hard ball and no hitting.

But thanx for the info.
