climbing/bouldering - indoors/outdoors

Post by Pix » Thu Apr 09, 2015 8:57 pm

Hello,
I would like to meet new people who are interested in going bouldering (in-and/or outdoors).

Also for rope climbing (top rope). I can belay you as well, if you are not heavier than 60 kg or so :D (with GriGri maybe up to 70kg) :D

If you want to meet up, leave a message!

cheers,

Nadine

Hi!

Yes, the weather is getting better now! In Finland I have only done indoor bouldering and climbing, but looking forward to go outdoors this year! I even have some guides.
Some climbing centres have weight bags to attach to yourself so you can belay a heavier person.

Yes, the good weather came early this year. I started outdoor bouldering already a month ago. Gladly Helsinki has many places with easy access. :)

I tried those weight bags, but I don't feel very confident in lowering someone who is for example 20kg heavier than I am. :?

Then it can also be a question of having a different belay device with more friction... or slightly different technique... but it's possible :)

Helsinki has outdoor bouldering places? You need to tell me more!

Thanks! That's great :)

Some of those bouldering places are more like climbing! I don't think I'd do them even with a couple of crash pads!
