Laundrymats

Hi Everyone!

This may seem like a strange question but I was wondering if Finland had laundrymats? I have never noticed any around, and it is just something that made me curious.

Well... errr... I think there is atleast one. Or used to be one in Helsinki. Or maybe it went bankrupt because nobody used it. Usually houses have a laundry room that you book with the janitor. If you don't have one, then its your own washing machine time... (or for student's a good excuse to visit mom).

Don't know how current this list is...

Itsepalvelupesula Pesu Pirta
Länsituulentie 1 A, 02100 ESPOO
p. (09) 455 6642 Pesulat

Itsepalvelupesula Pesutupa Viherpeippo
Kavallinpelto 13, 02710 ESPOO
p. (09) 509 3115 Pesulat

Itsepalvelupesula Puhtola
Agricolankatu 13, 00530 Helsinki
p. (09) 773 5737 Pesulat

Kallion Itsepalvelupesula
Suonionkatu 1, 00530 Helsinki
p. (09) 764 313

I have seen a couple around :D

Like Hank said, most people use the house laundry if they dont have their own machine.
