Iirc I got tip from here to www.popvakuutus.fi it was way cheaper back in the day. Then I went to www.fennia.fi and then www.lahitapiola.fi
Every time the switch was fueled by savings. Maybe it would be time for me too to check what the going rates are. Btw all the above mentioned insurers are (were?) cheaper when you pay quarterly or even less often.

I had two with the insurance company IF, but then the law changed regarding your bonus years and level, IF did not go with that yet so I changed one of the two cars to Lähitapiola to get the same bonus on the second car and changed this one year later back to IF because now they accepted my then current bonus on the car.

For me personally IF is the cheapest, but one of my insurances is already 11 years old so if I would change to another, it would not get cheaper.
I also get extra discount due to having all insurances there...

Best advice: take your license plate number and call all insurance companies for an offer. It is also possible in much cases to leave things out you don't need but this might only be possible when calling and not online.

My cars are only insured for damage to others in case I make a mistake (never happened since I go my license), not even glass or towing is included in mine (have 2 cars so if it breaks down I get the neighbor to tow me with the other car 8) ).

I own an old 7 seat Volvo 850 T5 Estate of 1994 and it is insured for 22€ a month (paid quarterly). (road tax is another issue though... )
