I got a pair of studded boots!
It's very convenient for short walk, but NOT so much for wandering into forest area in the kind of weather right now: half hard ice, half wet and melting on uneven ground. The studs are tiny and in some places ice accumulated very quickly to render them ineffective and become slippery itself. It's however very stable when cleaned.
EDIT: Got a pair OC system boots too. Studs are longer, but similar problem with icebug's. It doesn't feel safe like the big outsole or microspikes with much larger claws. I give up...
