does anybody know which is the best one? in UK there was much more offer but here in Finland seems difficult to get decent returns....I only found Aktia that has got a product that offers 3%,but I'm not sure exactly if it's a savings account, that's the description:
Erikoistarjouksemme
Kun yhdistät talletuksen ja Aktia Profiilipalvelun saat mahdollisuuden hyvään kokonaistuottoon.
3,00 % p.a. talletukselle kun sijoitat vähintään 50 % Aktia Profiilipalveluun
Talletuksen aika 3-12 kk
Talletuksen korko lasketaan per annum. Nostopalkkio on 0,5 % ennen eräpäivää nostetusta määrästä.
Aktia Profiilipalveluun sijoitettava minimisumma on 10 000 euroa.
P.a. (per annum) tarkoittaa vuotuista tuottoa.
Jos yhdistelmätarjouksessa vedotaan tuotekohtaisten ehtojen mukaiseen peruuttamisoikeuteen, talletuksen korko muutetaan koroksi, jota tarjottiin talletuksen tekohetkellä ilman peruutettua tuotetta.
High interests savings account
Re: High interests savings account
Considering the current rates of the ECB (banks are getting unlimited amounts of money at 1% from the ECB), 1% is a pretty decent return.Y77 wrote:does anybody know which is the best one? in UK there was much more offer but here in Finland seems difficult to get decent returns....
Any offer that is substantially above 1% is either a fraud or involves a risk or is a fixed interest rate valid for several years without an option for you to recall the money earlier.
Re: High interests savings account
It is a fixed term account for 3-12 months. The catch is that you need to put at least the same amount into some sort of fund, and you'll be paying fees for that.Y779 wrote:but I'm not sure exactly if it's a savings account, that's the description

Bigbank is Estonian, and covered by the Estonian deposit guarantee system, if you trust that.
TF Bank and Nordax are I believe in the consumer finance business (a notch above "pikavippi"). They should be covered by the Swedish deposit guarantee, so in that sense they ought to be OK.
